Scooterist dies as KSRTC bus rams into two-wheeler

Mangaluru, April 15, 2023: A scooterist died on the spot after a KSRTC bus rammed into the two-wheeler from behind at Jakribettu in Bantwal taluk on April 14, Friday.

 

The deceased is Dombayya Moolya (60) of Bhandaribettu. He was on way to B C Road from Jakribettu when the KSRTC bus from Dharmasthala hit his scooter. The scooterist died on the spot.

Dombayya was working as a manager at the Kulal Samudaya Bhavan at B C Road since several years. The mishap took place when he was going towards BC Road to purchase flowers for some religious works at home on account of Sankramana.

Melkar Traffic Police have registered a case.
