Schools with 5 or more Covid cases to have online classes for a week: DC

Mangaluru, Jan 18, 2022: Deputy Commissioner Dr Rajendra K V has said that schools which have reported  five or more Covid cases have been asked to suspend physical classes temporarily for a week and conduct online classes during the period.

 

He gave this instruction at a meeting of school representatives on January 17, Monday in the wake of rising Covid cases in the district.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, the DC said another meeting will be held after a week to assess the situation.

The government has instructed to suspend physical classes of schools with more than 10 cases, however in DK district it has been decided to suspend physical classes for a week if there are five or more than five cases, he informed.
