School Children injured in bus accident at Bejai

Mangalore, June 26: Nearly 25 persons including school children were injured and admitted into a hospital, after a bus carrying school children suffered brake fail at Bejai. The incident took place on Saturday, June 26.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The bus, belonging to KIOCL, was moving towards City from Kavoor to drop children to Canara higher primary School, suffered a brake fail as it tried to take a reverse. On the same time a private bus moving in a same direction rammed into it from behind.

Locals here said that, out of 33 children, eight children have sustained injuries. Even passengers of the private bus have also injured. The injured were admitted  to Darmastala Ayurvedic Hospital, Bejai. The private bus is badly damaged in the accident.
