Scholarships distributed among 200 students

Mangalore,Oct 26, 2012 : Shree Venkatesha Shiva Bhakti Yoga Sangha distributed scholarships among 200 students, including engineering students, medical students, CA students, undergraduates, and post graduate students at Koragappa Kalyana Mantapa of Kudroli Shree Gokarnatheshwara Temple on Oct 26, Friday.

B. Janardhan Poojary presented the scholarships on this occasion and said that people ought to help others when they are in a position to do so.

Speaking about Gokarnatheshwara College, he said that this college was established to give seats to poor students who are unable to afford the fees charges by private colleges. He urged poor students to study in Gokarnatheshwara College, where seats are given irrespective of caste and religion. All students who secure above 75% will be provided education free of cost, he added.

He also urged students who received scholarships to help other poor students once they are in a position to do so.
