Sarika case gets murkier ; suspected youth missing

Sullia, Nov 22, 2013: The baby Sarika death case is getting murkier with a youth who was supposedly involved in the case going missing. It is learnt, the youth who used to pass by Sarika’s house frequently  and was part of a group that was searching for hidden treasure in the  area, was missing since few days.

The youth worked at Pallatadka in Harihar and was suspected tohave taken Sarika away. He was also name an accused in the case of the murder of a senior citizen named Parameshwar Gowda. Two others along with the youth have already been arrested.

Sri Esha Vittaldasa Swamiji of Kemar Sandeepani Ashram has on November 21, Thursday visited  the place at Charmatha in Nalkur where Baby Sarika was reportedly sacrificed to gain the hidden treasure in the area.

The seer also interacted with the parents of Sarika and  later speaking to reporters here  he stressed the need for people to fight against  superstitious practices like black magic. He also urged the government to book under Goonda Act, the people involved in human sacrifice.

Several leaders including Mahesh Shetty Timarody of Prajaprabhutva Vedike and  Jyothi Premanand were present on the occasion.
