Sandeep murder case : 5 arrested

Mangalore, Feb 23, 2013 : Panambur police have arrested five persons in connection with the murder of a Suratkal youth named Sandeep Poojari. The arrest was made on February 22, Friday.It may be recalled here that Sandeep’s body was found stuffed in a bag with hands and legs tied down, on the sea shore near Baikampady recently.
The arrested are Raghavendra alias Raju (23), a resident of Baikampady, Chethan alias Annu, Laxmeesha alias Anni (25), Manoj (32) of Guddekopla and Naveen of Meenakaliya. Police are on the lookout for three more accused Suresh, Sachin and Gopi.A previous enmity is learnt to have led to the murder. Investigations are in progress.
