Sandeep Malani’s first Hindi movie Janleva 555 to be released

Mangalore, Oct 30, 2012 : Janleva 555, the new Hindi movie, will be released at Adlabs Big Cinema in Bharath Mall in Mangalore on Nov 2.

Director Sandeep Malani told reporters today that the film has been shot in places of Karnataka such as Madhugiri, Bangalore, Coorg, and Tumkur. Since the movie’s crew and cast are from Karnataka, the movie will be released in Karnataka on the occasion of Kannada Rajyothsava.

This film is the first Hindi movie of its kind, which has six songs in Hindi and 3 songs in English, the others being instrumental music.

The movie has 9 music directors—Ameya Naik, Dev Chauhan, Agnel Roman, Faizal Hussain, Nishanth Varghese, Yug Bhusal, Lokesh, Rahul Mehalwal, and Prakash, along with two American music composers Bradley G. Janke and Mike Paul Hughes.

The film’s heroine is Kalpana Pandhit. Ananth Nag is playing a role in the movie after 20 years. Besides, the movie introduces 10 newcomers.

Since Sandeep Malani is a fan of Shridevi, he has devoted his movie to her. A song in the movie is dedicated to late Yash Choptra. The movie is also a tribute to Nigahen and Nagina, movies by Harmesh Malhotra.

The movie was shot in 32 days by 3 cameramen with a Canon 5D. It was released on Oct 19 in Mumbai and will be released next in Mangalore.

Sandeep Malani, who hails from Mangalore, said that the movie is packed with entertainment in the form of dance, songs, comedy, sentiments, suspense, horror, romance, drama, and action.

Sandeep Malani has directed the movies Miss California and SMS 6260 and two short films Shaayad and Jo Jo Laali. His first Hindi movie is Janleva 5555. He was the associate director of the national award winner movie I AM.
