Saffron flag allegedly hoisted at private college; DYFI lodges complaint

Mangaluru, Jan 25, 2024: The DK district unit of the Democratic Youth Federation of India has lodged a complaint with the City Police Commissioner on Wednesday seeking action against those who allegedly hoisted saffron flag in the flag post meant for the national flag at the Srinivas College grounds at Valachil. The DYFI has also urged action against the college management.

 

The complaint stated that on the pretext of Ram Mandir inauguration on January 22, the saffron flag was hoisted by some miscreants and said hoisting a flag pertaining to a religion in the flag post meant for the national flag, was an anti-national act.
