Sacrament of confirmation administered to 97 children in Kulshekar church

Mangalore, Nov 7, 2012 : Rev. Aloysius Paul D’Souza, bishop of Mangalore Diocese, administered the sacrament of confirmation to 97 children in Kulshekar Church.

Parish priest Fr. Valerian Pinto, assistant parish priests Fr. Rupesh Madtha and Fr. Roshan D’Souza, Parish Pastoral Parishad Vice President Praveen Patrao, and Secretary George D’Souza welcomed the bishop, who arrived at 5:00 p.m.

 

 

 

The bishop then instructed the children on faith. Being the chief celebrant of the holy mass, which was celebrated at 5:30 p.m., the bishop delivered the homily, after which he administered the sacrament of confirmation.
