Mangalore, Nov 2, 2012: Pramod Muthalik, leader of Shri Rama Sene (SRS), opposed the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) decision to invite Pakistan for a limited-over series, scheduled to start on Dec 25.
Addressing reporters today, Muthalik said that the SRS will never allow Pakistanis to play cricket with the Bangalore Indian team.

Flaying Pakistan, he said that 137 of the 600 Pakistanis who recently came to India to watch a match have not returned. He demanded to know what they are still doing in India, adding that Pakistan is India’s enemy as it promotes terrorism, fills India with fake currency, and supports human trafficking and Love Jihad.
Accusing the government of India of attempting to appease the Muslim population to get votes, he said that friendship with Pakistan is impossible.
Raising the issue of Datta Peetha, he said that the BJP is playing with the religious sentiments of Hindus, adding that the party has done nothing for Hindutva. Besides, the BJP-led state government has filed 18 rowdy cases against Hindus, he complained.
He also announced a Datta Peeta campaign from Nov 19 to Nov 25. Over 10,000 people will take part in the valedictory, which will be held in the Datta Peeta. A procession from Kamadenu Shree Ganapathi Temple to Bolarameshwar Temple will also form part of the event, he said.
He also declared that the SRS will intensify its fight for Hindus’ right to view Datta Paduke and offer puja.
SRS Secretary Madhusudhan, District General Secretary Mahesh Koppa, and others were also present at the press conference.
