Jeevan Raj Kuthar, SFI state secretary, said that Gadkari, a corrupt RSS leader, wanted to divide India on the basis of religion. He has insulted Swami Vivekananda, a role model for students, by comparing his IQ to that IQ of underworld dons such as Dawood Ibrahim. Instead of propagating the philosophy and ideals of Swami Vivekananda on his 150th birth anniversary, Gadkari has insulted this saintly leader, he said.

Further, he flayed the BJP and said that Gadkari’s remark simply reflects the ideology and mentality of the BJP.  Stating that it will not be wrong to compare the IQ of Gadkari to the IQs of Ajmal Kasab and Dawood, he said that Gadkari must immediately apologize to the citizens of this country.

He also warned that intense protests will be launched against Gadkari if he does not withdraw his statement immediately.

The protestors also burned the effigy of Nithin Gadkari on this occasion.
