SCDCC Bank Chairman M N Rajendra Kumar decides against contesting MLC polls

Mangaluru, Nov 20, 2021: In an interesting development, SCDCC Bank Chairman M N Rajendra Kumar who  had decided to contest the Karnataka Legislative Council election from  the local authorities constituency of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi,  has  now backtracked and has said he would not be contesting. It may be recalled here that he had even opened his Election Office recently.

 

Rajendra Kumar said he has decided against contesting  as he wished to remain apolitical in the co-operative sector.

Interestingly, this development comes a day after  State Co-operation Minister S T Somashekhar had said that government can dismiss Rajendra Kumar  for alleged misappropriation of funds.
