Mangalore, Dec 11, 2011: St. Aloysius College Alumni Association (SACAA) felicitated the teaching and non teaching staff members of St. Aloysius Institution who had completed 25 years of service in the auditorium of St. Aloysius High School on Dec 10.
Sixty members of the teaching and non teaching staff were honored with flowers and mementos on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Fr. Leo D’Souza appreciated SACAA for remembering retired teachers and honoring them for their service.
In his address, Fr. Swebert D’Silva, the director of SACAA, said that the teaching and non teaching staff members of the institution are its greatest assets and that the SACAA has done the right thing in recognizing their services. He also urged the SACAA to make the institution’s dreams of constructing a swimming pool come true.
Speaking on the occasion, Fr. Joseph Rodrigues, the rector, said that the teachers of St. Aloysius College have always delivered great service.
The audience was introduced to the institution’s dreams of constructing a swimming pool and a contribution draw for the same was held.
