Rohit Kumar Kateel - chosen manager of Indian contingent for World Masters Athletics event

Karkala, Aug 18, 2013: Veteran athlete from the district Rohit Kumar Kateel  will be the manager for the  Indian contingent  in the World Masters Athletic Championships-2013 to be held  at Porto Alegre,  Brazil from October 16 to 27.

His selection for the post was announced by D David Premanath, General Secretary of Masters Athletics Federation of India.

Rohit Kumar Kateel  was  the first Indian to participate in the World Junior Championship in High Jump Category and has won laurels in high jump in both the state and national levels.

Presently, he is working  for Jeevan Bima Nigam in Karkala.
