Road mishap at Sakleshpur claims life of Sullia JD(S) leader’s son

Sullia, June 06, 2014:  A tragic road mishap reported from Sakleshpur has claimed the life of the son of a JD(S) leader from Sullia on June 4, Wednesday night.

The deceased is Jagath Kolchar (26), son of Sullia Assembly constituency unit JD(S) Chief Chandra Kolchar. The mishap occurred when the bike which Jagath  was riding  was hit by a speeding lorry killing him on the spot.

Jagath who a interior designer in Sakleshpur was on way to a hotel for dinner when the accident took place. After a post-mortem at the Sakleshpur Government Hospital, the body was handed over to the family on June 5, Thursday.

Several leaders irrespective of party lines paid a visit to the JD(S) leader’s house and offered last respects to his departed son.
