Road accident: Injured Congress leader Leena Mathias passes away in Udupi

Udupi, May 12, 2025: Senior Congress leader of Udupi, Leena Mathias of Shirva who was critically injured in a road mishap, has succumbed at a hospital in Udupi on Monday morning.

Leena was standing on the roadside when she was hit by a car. A critically injured Leena was immediately rushed to the hospital. However her life could not be saved.

She had served as former secretary of State Mahila Congress and was a former member of Shirva Gram Panchayat.
