Renowned Yakshagana Bhagavatha Subrahmanya Dhareshwar no more

Kundapur, April 25, 2024: Renowned Yakshagana Bhagavatha Subrahmanya Dhareshwar passed away at his son’s residence at Bengaluru on April 25 morning. He was 67 years old.

 

Subrahmanya had served as the main Bhagavatha of the Perdoor Mela for 28 years. He had also served the Kota Amritheshwari Mela, Hiremahalingeshwara Mela and Sirsi Mela.

He hailed from Gokarna.
