Ranjitha murder: Finally, absconding Yogesh caught by locals

Udupi, Nov 30, 2013: The police with the help of locals have finally succeeded in arresting Yogesh on Nov 30, Saturday who went absconding after stabbing his love interest Ranjitha (20) to death.

Eight police teams were formed to arrest Yogesh who went absconding from November 27.

 

On Saturday, one of the locals saw a parked car covered with tarpaulin, based on the suspicion, he removed the cover and found Yogesh inside the car.

 The locals gathered and caught the accused, when he tried to escape and handed over him to the police official’s team led by Udupi circle inspector Maruti Nayak.

Yogesh had sustained injuries on his leg and was taken to Ajjarkad hospital for medical examination
