Railway platform ticket fare reduced to Rs.10

Mangaluru, Nov 25, 2021: In light of the easing of restrictions imposed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been decided by the competent authority to revert the platform ticket price from ₹50 to ₹10 at the railway stations under Palakkad Division.

 

The platform ticket price will be ₹ 10/per person at all Railway Stations with immediate effect, i.e, from  25th November 2021. The price of the platform ticket was increased to ₹50 to discourage overcrowding amid the COVID-19 pandemic situation.

Passengers/those who are entering the railway stations are requested to follow Covid protocols such as wearing masks, social distancing, and hand hygiene.
