Ragging accused students get conditional bail

Mangaluru, Feb 13, 2021:     The eleven students of a private college at Derlakatte who were arrested on the charges of ragging their juniors, have  been granted conditional bail by the court.

 

The eleven students were arrested after the Campus officer of the college Martin George lodged a complaint at the Ullal station. All the accused are second year BSC nursing students and are of Kerala origin.

They had reportedly  harassed some fresher students by making them shave their moustache and also  measure the classroom using match sticks.

Those who secured bail are Muhammad Shammas, Akshay KS, Robin Biju,  Abdul Anas, Jepin Roichin. Alwyn Joy, Jerone Cyril, Sooraj, Asin Babu, Jubin Mehroof and Abdul Basith.
