Rachana honours Mangalore South MLA JR Lobo

Mangalore, May 27, 2013 : Mangalore South MLA JR Lobo was felicitated on behalf of Rachana, a forum of Catholic businessmen, entrepreneurs and professionals at a function held in the city on May 26, Sunday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Roy Castelino, Chairman of Rachana, felicitated JR Lobo and his wife Philomena Lobo on the occasion. Capt. John Prasad Menezes introduced JR Lobo and read out the citation.

Responding to the honour conferred on him, Lobo said  people from all walks of life have contributed to his victory and added that  as an MLA his responsibility towards his constituency was doubled. He further  added that his victory was more special because he defeated a four time MLA who was also the Deputy speaker.

 He said he had a vision for the development of Mangalore in various spheres and promised to work towards the endeavour. He also thanked Rachana for honouring  him.
