Mangaluru, July 24, 2026: RVR Healthcare has announced a major expansion of its healthcare services with the launch of a dedicated Neuro-Oncology Centre in Kasaragod, Kerala, and the nationwide expansion of its ’Arogya by RVR’ free health screening and consultation programme.
The announcements were made as part of the hospital’s strategic plan to strengthen access to affordable, super-specialty healthcare while extending its community outreach initiatives across India.

Established on April 24, 2026, RVR Healthcare is a super-specialty hospital based in Mangaluru. The institution was founded with the vision of providing world-class medical care at affordable costs while combining clinical excellence with compassionate patient care.
The hospital is led by Founder and Chairman Vijay M. N. Shetty, an entrepreneur who launched RVR Healthcare as a social initiative aimed at making quality healthcare accessible to all, irrespective of their financial background. He said the institution is committed to ensuring that affordability never comes at the cost of medical excellence.
One of the hospital’s directors, Dr. (Prof.) Raghavendra B. S., a senior neurosurgeon, plays a key role in guiding the institution’s clinical services. The hospital also has a panel of senior consultants, including cardiologist Dr. Maneesh Rai, along with specialists in neurology, neurosurgery, oncology and allied medical disciplines.
As part of its community healthcare mission, RVR Healthcare launched ’Arogya by RVR’, a free health screening and consultation programme aimed at underserved communities. The initiative offers specialist consultations, preventive health screenings and public health awareness programmes. Following a successful medical camp in Chikkamagaluru, the programme is now set to expand across Karnataka, Kerala and other parts of the country.
The hospital will officially inaugurate its Neuro-Oncology Centre in Kasaragod on July 26, marking its first major expansion outside Karnataka. The centre will provide specialised diagnosis and treatment for neurological cancers and related disorders through advanced medical infrastructure and a team of experienced neurologists, neurosurgeons and oncologists.
RVR Healthcare said it plans to further expand its network in the coming months, with additional initiatives aimed at improving access to specialised healthcare services across India.
