Puttur: Woman falls down while plucking coconuts; dies

Puttur, Aug 09, 2023: A 30 year old woman who was known for her expertise in climbing coconut trees and plucking coconuts, tragically lost her life after she accidentally fell down while plucking coconuts at Punchappadi village near Savanoor.

 

The deceased is Suchitra, wife of Pramod Bellaje. She is survived by her husband and two children.

Suchitra was honoured by several organisations in recognition of her expertise in climbing coconut trees.
