Puttur: Spanner found inside pickle bottle

Puttur,Jan18,2013: There have been instances of people finding worms in chocolate, dead snake in soft drink bottles etc etc. But, this one is different. A rusted spanner inside a bottle of pickle!

 

Satish Pai, a resident of Puttur had recently purchased a bottle of half a kg of pickle manufactured by a reputed company. He was even using the pickle till recently. But, the shocking fact came to light only when the bottle was half empty, To his shock, he found a completely rusted spanner inside the bottle.

He immediately brought the same to the notice of the media and also the health department. He has also lodged a written complaint.

Pai is also planning to move the court against the pickle manufacturing company for negligence during preparation of pickle.
