Puttur : Son accused of raping own mother ; victim hospitalised

Puttur, Jan 14, 2022: A shocking case wherein a son allegedly raped his own mother has been reported from Kurikkara in Kedambady village.

 

The victim has lodged a complaint at Puttur Rural Police Station. The woman who is severely traumatised by the dastardly act of her son, has been admitted to Puttur Government Hospital.

It has been gathered that the police have detained the accused.

The 58 year old woman was living with her 35 year old son in the village. It is said on the night of January 12, the man who entered the room of the woman had physically abused her and had even threatened her. It is alleged the next day too he had  sexually assaulted  his mother who  was greatly traumatised and  got herself admitted to the Hospital and later lodged a complaint.

The accused is married and his wife  was staying at her parental home.
