Puttur: Rider dies as bike rams into stationed lorry

Puttur, May 19, 2025: A bike rider lost his life after his two-wheeler crashed against a stationed lorry on the roadside at Urlandy bypass on the Maani-Mysuru NH late night on Sunday.

The deceased is Sudeep (36)  from Kunjur in Aryapu.  It is learnt, Sudeep did not notice the lorry stationed on the roadside without any signal lights. Moreover it was drizzling which reduced visibility resulting in the bike crashing into the lorry.

Sudeep was on way to his sister’s home at Neralekatte when tragedy struck.

Puttur Traffic police have registered a case.
