Puttur: Multiple vehicle collision; riders escape unharmed

Puttur, May 1, 2025: An accident occurred at the Santyar Junction on the Puttur-Mani-Mysuru National Highway involving a KSRTC bus, a Maruti car, and two two-wheelers.

The KSRTC bus, which was heading from Puttur towards Sullia, had stopped at the roadside at Santyar Junction to allow passengers to board. At that moment, a Maruti car coming from the Panaji direction collided with an oncoming Suzuki Access. Due to the impact, the Suzuki Access then crashed into an oncoming Bajaj Pulsar bike, and both vehicles hit the KSRTC bus.

The Suzuki Access, Bajaj Pulsar, and Maruti 800 were heavily damaged in the accident. However, eyewitnesses reported that no one was injured.
