Puttur: Man found dead in lake near temple

Puttur, Dec 30, 2021: A man was found dead in the lake in front of the field opposite the Mahalingeshwara Temple of Puttur on December 30, Thursday morning.

 

The deceased has been identified as Manohar Prabhu (48), a resident of Darbe in Puttur. He was engaged in the internet cable business. His footwear and scooter were found near the lake. It is suspected that he had committed suicide.

Fire service  personnel along with  the help of others retrieved the body. Manohar Prabhu was  missing since Wednesday night. He has left behind his wife and two children.

Puttur Town Police have registered a case.
