Puttur: Lady teacher loses life in bike-lorry collision

Puttur, Jan 30, 2024: A teacher who was pillion riding a bike which her husband was riding, lost her life in a collision between the bike and the tipper at Polya near Kabaka on Monday.

 

The deceased is Anitha (35), a teacher of a private school at Mani. Her husband Suresh Kulal and child sustained minor injuries in the mishap.

Anitha was injured after she suffered a fall at her house a few days ago. On Monday she along with her husband and child had been to the Puttur Government Hospital for treatment. While they were returning home, the speeding lorry hit the bike and Anitha fell on the road. She died before she was rushed to the hospital.

Puttur traffic police have registered a case.
