Puttur: Elderly citizen dies in scooter-truck collision

Puttur, March 7, 2025: An elderly citizen lost his life in a collision between his two-wheeler and a truck at Mukrampady on the Maani-Mysuru National Highway on March 6.

The deceased is Krishna Bhat (76) of Kuthkunja village. He was a retired teacher. He was on way to Puttur from Panja when the mishap took place. Though Bhat was immediately rushed to the hospital, his life could not be saved.
