Puttur: Body of 17 year boy who went missing while swimming, traced

Puttur, Oct 16, 2023: The body of a 17 year old boy who went missing while swimming with his friends at Erakkala in Keyyur village, was traced on October 16, Monday morning.

 

The deceased boy is Tasleem (17), son of Hamza of Madavu Kattattaru. He was a PUC student at a college in Sullia and had come home on account of holiday.

On October 15, he had been to swim in the Gowri lake near Erakkala along with his friends. However he went missing while swimming and his friends had informed his family members.

A search was launched and the body was found on Monday morning near the place where they went swimming.
