Puttur: Auto driver dies in collision with KSRTC bus

Puttur, April 27, 2024: An autorickshaw driver lost his life in a collision between his vehicle and a KSRTC bus  near Mukrampady on the Maani-Mysuru Highway during the wee hours of Saturday. The bus which was deputed to ferry election staff was returning to Puttur from Madikeri when the mishap took place.

 

The deceased autorickshaw driver is Jaison (30). The mishap took place at around 2 am. The auto was completely mangled in the mishap and Jaison was caught inside it. Though he was rescued by fire service personnel, he had breathed his last by then.
