Puttur: 3 seriously hurt after private bus rams into car

Puttur, May 27, 2025: Three persons including a child sustained serious injuries after the car in which they were travelling was hit by a private bus near Mura Junction on the outskirts of Puttur on the Maani-Mysuru Highway on Tuesday.

 

 

The injured are Eshwar Bhat, his daughter Apoorva and grand daughter. Apoorva had arrived from Bengaluru with her daughter to attend a Shradha ceremony to be held today. Eshwar Bhat was taking his grand daughter and daughter home when the mishap took place.

Locals immediately rushed to the spot and assisted in getting the three who were caught in the mangled car, out of the vehicle and took them to hospital.

Puttur Traffic police visited the spot.
