Puttur: 22-year-old woman dies by suicide in Bannur

Puttur, Aug 18, 2025: A 22-year-old woman died by suicide at her home in Bannur village, Puttur taluk, on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Tejaswini, daughter of Dombayya Kulal, a resident of Kanadka in Bannur.

According to police sources, she was found hanging inside her house. Tejaswini was employed as a staff member at Jidekallu Government First Grade College.

She is survived by her father, mother, and a brother.
