Public reprimand drunken bus driver

Mangalore, Jan 3: Shree Kollur Mookambika bus plying from Moodushedde to Kankanady crash into an electric post at Kulshekar due to rash driving. The driver of the bus was apparently drunk.















An electric pole was ripped out and fell on the road, blocking traffic for some time. Over 35 passengers in the bus were miraculously escaped unhurt. Two passengers had minor injuries and were taken to the hospital. Mescom disconnected the power supply in time, averting major mishap.
The public reprimanded the driver for his carelessness. The conductor fled the scene fearing public attack. The police have registered a case on the errant bus driver.
