Public holidays announced for two Lok Sabha polling days in Karnataka.

Bengaluru, March, 30, 2024: The Lok Sabha polling dates in Karnataka have been officially announced, scheduled to take place in two phases across the state.

Both polling days have been designated as public holidays.

The first phase of polling is scheduled for April 26, followed by the second phase on May 7.

On these days, all state government offices, schools, industries, colleges, business establishments, and other organizations will be closed, granting holidays with pay to both permanent and daily wage laborers as per the directive issued by the under secretary of the government.

These holidays have been established to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to exercise their right to vote.
