Provocative posts: 2 more FIRs filed in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, May 8, 2025: Police have registered two more FIRs in connection with provocative social media posts aimed at disrupting communal harmony.

In the first Instagram post, a user named _dj_bharath_2008 had made a post regarding avenging the death of Suhas Shetty. Police have taken into custody Sharanappa Basavaraja Bingi Bejai for liking this post.

In another instance, a case has been registered against a user with id karavali_official. Even in this case, a person named Shahanaz Bajpe is being questioned for liking the post.
