Provocative post on Nejaru murder : Suo moto case filed

Udupi, Nov 20, 2023: The Udupi police have registered a suo moto case against a person for a provocative post in Facebook, relating to the Nejaru murder case.

 

The case was filed after a certain Hafeez Muhammad made a post stating “People of Nejaru lost an easy way of killing Praveen Chowgule without any preparation.”

The accused has been booked under IPC 155 and 505(2) for instigating criminal act and for trying to disturb public peace.
