Prophet’s life is a guiding light: Speaker U.T. Khader

Ullal, September 5, 2025: A grand Milad-un-Nabi rally was organized on Friday under the auspices of Ullal Central Jumma Masjid (402) and the Sayyid Madani Dargah Committee to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The prayer (Dua) was led by Khatib Irshad Sakhafi of Kodi Jumma Masjid. Inaugurating the rally, Speaker U.T. Khader said that the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who spread the message of peace and harmony, serves as a guiding light for humanity. “We must adopt his ideals in our lives to build a better society and lead meaningful lives,” he added.


Milad un Nabi


Dargah President Haneef Haji presided over the program and addressed the gathering.

The peaceful Milad-un-Nabi rally began at Kotekar Mosque and concluded at Ullal Dargah, with students from 28 mohallas across five circles actively participating.

Dargah Vice President Ashraf Right Way, General Secretary Shihabuddin Sakhafi, Treasurer Nazim Rahman, former Vice President Ismail Monu, former President U.S. Hamza, members Abdul Khader, Zainuddin Melangadi, Ishaq Melangadi, Abdul Khader Kodi, Khatib Muhammad Faizi (Patla Mosque), Arabic College Professor Ibrahim Ahsani, Nouman Noorani, Nazeem Noorani, Ullal Urban Development Authority Chairman Sadashiva Ullal, Municipal Councillor Bazil D’Souza, and several others were present.

General Secretary Shihabuddin Sakhafi welcomed the gathering.
