Presidency School holds annual sports day

Mangalore, Jan 29, 2012:  Presidency School in Neermarga held its annual sports meet Prathispardha 2011 – 12 on Jan 27 Friday. 

All the students of the school, right from Kindergarten to Grade X, participated in this event. The chief guest of the event was Mr. Iqbal Ahmed, the chairman of Little Flower Public School in Bangalore. He declared the event open by hoisting the flag and releasing balloons into the air. 

 

 

 

 

Children dressed as tiger cubs greeted dignitaries. The colorful and disciplined march past with participants wearing their House colors of green, blue, red, and yellow held the audience spellbound. There was also a display of aerobics and other forms of exercises. 

School Captain Utsav Karia spoke on the occasion and said that the school is providing innumerable opportunities for the growth of its students. 

At the prize distribution ceremony, held later on, Mr. Nissar Ahmed, Mrs. Iqbal Ahmed, Mrs. Nafisa Ahmed, Mr. Tanveer Ahmed, and others were also present.
