Prema and Nishma Poojary selected for 75th Republic Day Celebrations in New Delhi

Mangaluru, Jan 25, 2026: Prema Gopal Poojary and Nishma Poojary from Dakshina Kannada district have been selected to participate in the 75th Republic Day celebrations to be held in New Delhi on January 26.

Prema Gopal Poojary, a resident of Kambala Dadda–Mel Gudde in Sangabettu village, is a community resource person with the Amruta Sanjeevini collective. She has been actively involved in social service and has consistently extended support to the underprivileged. In recognition of her contributions to society, she has received several awards.

Nishma Poojary, a resident of Moodukodi Aladka, is the daughter of Nanditha and Narayana Poojary. She is a student of Alva’s College, Moodbidri, and has been selected to take part in the prestigious national event.
