Post-centenary platinum jubilee fete of BEM institutions draws to a close

Mangalore, Jan 26, 2014: Curtains were drawn to the post-centenary platinum jubilee celebrations of the BEM Educational Institutions of Mangalore at a glittering ceremony held at the School grounds on January 25, Saturday.

HT Sangliana, former DGP of Karnataka who presided over the function, recalled the glorious history of the BEM institutions and their  dedicated service in the field of education for over a century.

 

Walter J Maben, President of the School Management  Board delivered the key-note address.  An alumnus of the institution M Ravalnath Prabhu was felicitated on the occasion.

Rev John Stephen Sadananda, CSI Bishop, Karnataka Southern Diocese was also present as a chief guest. Prakash Simon, President of UBMC, Roshan Kumar, Principal of BEM PU College,  Alwyn Ananda, Capt Ganesh Karnik,MLC, Jayanthi Purushottam, Headmistress of Higher Primary School and others were present.
