Yeddyurappa was arrested when Jeevan Kumar Gaonkar was in office. The officer is known to be honest and corruption free.

Mr. Poojary also said that the former CM and the present CM have also transferred Pranab Mohanty, the Lokayukta deputy inspector general of police, who is known for his efficiency, and have replaced him with Arun Chakravarthi.

Alleging that all these officers were transferred just to destroy the evidence required to book Yeddyurappa in the denotification case, he said that the court had already warned the former CM not to tamper with evidence. He also expressed hopes that the Supreme Court will give justice.

He also said that Yeddyurappa’s secret meetings in jail with ministers such as Shobha Karandhlaje and CM Sadananda Gowda is against the law.

Poojary also warned Sadananda Gowda to be careful because the former CM is attempting to use him to conceal his mistakes.

Questioning Anna Hazare on his silence regarding corruption at the state level, he also stated that Ravi Shankar Guruji had no moral right to give anti-corruption speeches in other states when he cannot stop corruption in his state.
