Bangalore, Aug 13, 2013:Congress senior leader B Janardhana Poojary on Tuesday ridiculed the revival of bonhomie between KJP leader B S Yeddyurappa and JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy, and wondered as to when the ‘love bloomed’ between the two.
Addressing a press conference in Bangalore, Poojary said that Kumaraswamy and Yeddyurappa shared a common dais and also a garland at a programme in Mysore on Monday. Both were seen cosying up to each other by talking intimately.
The Congress leader said the BJP and the JD(S) have no courage to face the Congress in the Lok Sabha and Council elections. Hence, the BJP, KJP and the JD(S) have come to an understanding by giving up their principles. Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is the creator of this forum, he added.
He said the next step would be merger. All these efforts are to ensure that Modi becomes the prime minister. If these parties have people’s support then they would not have hobnobbed with each other, Poojary said.
Alleging that Modi is corrupt, the Congress leader said that compared to Modi, Yeddyurappa is far better when it comes corruption. “The JD (S) has become a communal party,” he said.
