Police nab 2 persons carrying heroin worth Rs 50,000

Mangalore, September 19: The Mangalore South police have arrested 2 persons and confiscated 25gms of heroin worth Rs. 50,000.

 

 

 

 

The arrested are Suraj Kumar (28) of Kulshekar and Gowthama Chandra of Bikarnakatte. Acting on a tip off, the police inspector of Mangalore South Police Station along with a staff stopped a Kinetic Honda near Koti Chennayya Circle on Saturday and caught the two illegally transporting heroin. The police have also seized a laptop, mobile phones, a Kinetic Honda, and cash.

The police have registered a case under NDPS Act of 1985.
