Police arrest Two for possession of narcotic drug

Mangaluru, July 23, 2023: The CCB police have arrested two individuals and seized nine grams of MDMA, with an estimated street value of Rs 45,000, along with two mobile phones and one digital weighing scale, valued at Rs 95,500 in total.

The arrested are identified as of Kaushik Devadiga (26), a resident of Bhojaraj compound, Kadri New Temple Road, Mangaluru and Mohammed Irshad (29), residing in Jayanagara near Bajal in Mangaluru.

Acting on a specific tip-off about the illegal sale of MDMA near Guttakadu bus stand in Talippady village, Kinnigoli ACP of CCB, P A Hegde, along with his team conducted a raid. A case has been registered at Mulky police station.
