Play‘Santa Khursachye Kurven’ staged at Kalangann

Mangalore, Feb 5, 2013 : A play entitled ‘Santa Khursachye Kurven’, reflecting the travails of Catholics and their places of worship during the 1784 attack by soldiers of Tipu Sultan, was staged as part of the 134th monthly theatre of Mandd Sobhann on February 3, Sunday at the Noreen and Ronald Mendonca amphi-theatre at Kalaangann, Shaktinagar.

 

 

 

The play authored by Jo Cy Siddakatte was directed by John M Permannur. The play director was honoured on the occasion by Stany Alvares, President of Mandd Sobhann.

Fr Walter D’Souza, Fr Prakash D’Souza, Fr Alice D’Souza, Fr Joachim Rodrigues and several others were present.
