Pickpocket trapped; beaten up by public in Ullal

 Mangalore, Aug 8, 2013 : A pickpocket who was caught red handed at Thokkottu on August 8, Thursday   by a bus time keeper, was beaten up black and blue by the  public. He was later handed over to the police.

The accused has been identified as Sudhaker (35). The time keeper who noticed Sudhaker pick pocketing a person who was alighting from a bus,  immediately caught hold of him and gave him a good thrashing. Later, public too joined him in beating up Sudhaker. It is learnt, he had pick pocketed Rs 3500 from the passenger.
