Petrol theft from MRPL pipeline in Belthangady detected

Belthangady, April 16, 2022: A case of petrol theft by drilling a hole in the MRPL pipeline has been detected near the Morarji Desai Residential School in Machina village.

 

It has come to light that the thieves had a gate valve fitted to the underground pipe to pilferage petrol using a  small pipe. It is not known where the pilfered fuel was stored.

Punjalakatte police are investigating the case.
