Pedestrian dies, cop injured as speeding car hits them at Padil

Mangaluru, Jan 23, 2024: A pedestrian lost his life while a police personnel sustained injuries when a speeding car knocked them down near the Padil police check-post on Monday night.

 

The deceased is Malik (48) of Odisha.  Police personnel Harish who was on duty near the check-post was injured.

The car which was coming from BC Road side was being driven rashly and negligently, police said.
